ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Yvette Wilburn was born in Detroit, Michigan. She is a poet and an author. She is hosting two Christian radio shows that showcase scripture, music and poetry. She is a member of the Called and Ready Writers in Detroit, where Minister Mary Edwards is the founder and Wanda J Burnside is the president of this Christian Writing Group.

Yvette holds a B.S. Degree in English. She is a second grade teacher at Thirkell Elementary School. Her plan for the future is to start a Christian Literacy Center.

Yvette is a single parent of three adult children, Randon, Shaundra, and Michael. She also has four grandchildren, Aundra, Brandy, Jeremiah, and Lenaysiah.

Yvette is a member and psalmist at Praise Fellowship Christian Church in Detroit under the Apostleship of Pastors Gwayland and Vanessa McCleney. Her pastors are Pastors Travis and Lakeisha Mason.
